Association: Luxembourgish Literature

Welcome

A:LL Schrëftsteller * innen asbl is an association founded in September 2020. A:LL, an abbreviaton for Association: Luxembourgish Literature, adheres to the tradition of LSV, the Luxembourg Writers' Association, and protects the claims and rights of writers with a regular literary activity in Luxembourg. A:LL signed the Deontological Charter of the Ministry of Culture in October 2022.

At the moment, task teams work on the payment modalities of writers' activities, on a platform for emerging writers, and on forms of collaboration between writers and publishers.

Membership

We welcome membership applications, whether you have been writing for a long time or have just started to become an active writer.

The Board of Administrators of A:LL Schrëftsteller*innen, which deals with the admissions, bases its decision on the following non-exhaustive list of criteria in order to evaluate the regular and effective activity, in particular:

Participation in writing residencies offered by professional structures in Luxembourg and/or abroad in the years preceding the application for membership

Publications with a publishing house in the years preceding the application for membership

Works produced by a professional structure or company in the years preceding the application for membership

Literary prizes/awards obtained in Luxembourg and/or abroad and awarded by a professional body recognised in the literary world

Invitations/participation in literary events/meetings/festivals proposed by professional structures in Luxembourg and/or abroad in the years preceding the application for membership
